Park Hill Entertainment is a video production and global brand marketing firm founded by producer/writer/presenter Shirley Neal, who remains the driving force behind the company.

Neal started PARK HILL in 1992, making good on a childhood dream she had while living on Park Hill Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, where she vowed to one day open a company in Hollywood that would create entertaining, high quality, television programming for a worldwide audience.

During the companys existence, PARK HILL and Neals production credits have stretched across numerous U.S. cable networks including Discovery Travel, Arts & Entertainment (A&E), BET, TV Land, E! Entertainment, TVOne, Spike TV, and The Africa Channel.  Plus, syndicated television, and on CBS, NBC and Fox broadcast networks.

In 2005, Neal helped to launch The Africa Channel - a 24/7 entertainment cable network devoted to de-mystifying Africa and the African Diaspora.  After serving seven years as The Africa Channels Executive Vice President of Programming & Production, Neal returned to run Park Hill Entertainment, with a new focus on Africa!

Neal continues to work with a team of dedicated professionals experienced and knowledgeable in television production, and with new associates in the fields of marketing, public relations, economics and business management.

“Africa is indeed the future!  Even before helping to launch the Africa Channel, I had a passion for the culture, people and opportunities that await so many visitors and investors to the continent.  I’m pleased to focus PARK HILL’s efforts in video, PR and other means, to bridge the two cultures and brand Africa as the destination of the future!”
